Bangor Area AIDS Walk

Maine AIDS Walk

EMAN will once again be hosting the Bangor Area AIDS Walk (part of Maine AIDS Walk) on Saturday, May 22, 2010. Registration will begin at 10:00am with the 5k (3 mile) walk starting at 11:00am.

The walk raises both funds and awareness of HIV/AIDS in the state of Maine. We highly encourage walkers to get pledges, but welcome folks who just want to come out, walk, and support the cause. And if you are unable to walk, we happily accept donations, as well!

For more information, to register or donate online, please go to

maineaidswalk.kintera.org/Bangor

Walkers can set up their very own Kintera fundraising page, and we encourage everyone to take advantage of this great service. A paper pledge form and local brochure are available for those who do not want to use the online forms.

Please note a change this year - walkers and donors may choose only ONE agency to support with their pledges instead of multiple agencies as has been done in the past. The accounting was a nightmare, so we appreciate your understanding.

Start breaking in those new sneakers, find something red to wear, and join us for the 2010 Bangor Area AIDS Walk!
